Sigmoune Ferdinand Velasco also known as "SIGFRED" was born in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1964 but moved back to the Philippines when he got married. Sigfred is an artist on his own right, having won several times in the prestigious Marco Polo Cebu Painter's Annual and being a finalist in the ING Young Artist's Award. He designed furniture before providentially getting into painting. He sold work in over 8 countries worldwide. His paintings hand in loft apartments in Los Angeles, exclusive corporate interior companies in Hawaii, restaurants in Manila and stylish homes. Just about every wallspace imaginable. His achievement is a constant reminder just how much his work is truely appreciated. Sigfred paints "inspirational abstract", an impressions of beauty, melancholy of humans and natures life. His expressive earth tone and colorful strokes give life to his subjects. |
