Our artists specialized in the painting of different styles and formats, so we can offer a variety of different themes, as reproductions of well know masterpieces, portraits, abstract art or art on demand. As experts in their field, our artists devote their full energy and commitment to preserve harmony, intensity and charisma of the original. Only high quality materials and canvasses are used, which ensures a clear color differentiation and detailed shadow/light contrasts on the painting. The paintings will be very similar to the original and often hardly be distinguishable by eye.

  1. How can I order art on demand, portraits or a reproduction?

    2. Whether art on demand, portraits, reproductions or any other painting the simplest way to order them goes via our online shopping cart. Just add the desired painting (do not forget size and qty) in the shopping cart, upload your photo in case of art on demand or portraits, fill in your personal information, select the method of payment and submit your order online. Shortly thereafter, you will receive our order confirmation. Of course, you can also send your orders the classical way i.e. by fax or per letter. Should you have any further questions, you can always reach us via our email address or telephone hotline.

  1. Is there a minimum size for a painting?

    2. The minimum size for portraits or art on demand is 30x40 cm. This will ensure that details of the original can be fully captured. Very large or special formats can be created on demand. Please do not hesitate to contact us.

  1. How must a master for a portrait look like, does a ordinary photo suffice?

    2. Your portraits or art on demand will be painted based on the submitted master file. The quality of the photo influences the final result, hence the more details are recognizable the more details can be incorporated into the painting. During the order process, you can upload the photo on our server (500 KB max.) or send them by email or mail (13cm x 18cm minimum) to us. Of course we will send back the original photo when we dispatch the finished oil painting. Every motive is possible, provided no copyrights or ruling laws are violated.

  1. Is it possible to paint two or more persons from different photos on one and the same painting/portrait?

    2. Yes, that is the beauty of art. It is very well possible to combine different persons from different photos in one and the same painting or portrait. Ideally the persons should be pictured from a similar angle. If you are interested but have doubts whether a certain combination would work, please do not hesitate to send us the photos for an evaluation. We are here to help and will give you an answer with 24 hours.

  1. Is it possible to modify aspects of the original for the final painting?

    2. In general our artists create your painting true to original. On request they can omit interfering elements (e.g. glasses) or change the color of the background.

  1. Is it legally allowed to copy original masterpieces?

    2. In the United States one can legally copy old masterpieces if the artist has been dead for more than 50 years. In Europe, e.g. Germany more than 70 years are required. Therefore, please verify copyright protection before making any inquiry. To receive a copy of a still copyright protected masterpiece, please inform us accordingly and our artists will make small adjustments on certain details on the respective painting.

  1. How does the order process look like?

    1. You choose the painting or picture, which you are interested in and add it to the shopping cart.
    2. Subsequently, you submit required personal data either online or per E-Mail, Telephone, Fax or Mail.
    3. We will send you an acknowledgment receipt within 24 hours in case of online transmission, as well as an invoice per E-Mail or mail.
    4. As soon as the invoice value has been received on our account, we will send you a binding order confirmation and start with the painting work.
    5. Your painting will be delivered to you within 6 to 8 weeks.

    2. The delivery is for free. The paintings will be delivered to you in a roll.

    2. Our delivery time is between 6 to 8 weeks.

    Please consider when ordering art on demand that each painting is unique and is painted by hand for you by one of our artists. Thats why delivery times can vary by 1-2 weeks.

  1. Which different stages does my painting undergo?

    2. We differentiate the drawing, evaluation, drying and shipping stage. The drawing stage starts immediately after our artists received the order and the respective photo master for your oil painting. This stage lasts for approx. 2 to 3 weeks.

    During the evaluation phase (1 to 2 weeks) we will send you the almost finished painting as a photo via email to your evaluation and confirmation. By this, we would like to involve you in the creation process to secure you later satisfaction as well as to incorporate last changes and corrections from your side.

    After completion the drying stage begins, which can last between 3 to 4 weeks depending on the thickness of the applied oil. After this the oil painting can be shipped home to your convenience.

    2. No, your painting will be painted is such a manner that you can hang it directly to the wall without a frame. Of course you can later on frame it by yourself.

    2. If you are not satisfied with your painting you can send it back to Artboxx.com within 14 days. We will refund the purchase price at your earliest convenience.

  1. What happens, if my painting arrives in damaged condition?

    2. All paintings from Artboxx.com will be carefully packed before shipment and are furthermore insured against shipping damage. Should it still happen, that your painting is damaged, we would like to ask you to immediately contact us. We will reimburse you for the return shipping freights and immediately have a new painting painted for you or reimburse the purchase price.

Please consider, that our website’s attractiveness depends on a proof of our quality, which is reflected in the paintings of our clients.

  1. Handelt es sich um echte, handgemalte Gemälde?

Wir verbürgen uns für die Qualität und Seriosität unsere Ölgemälde. Sie erhalten von uns 100% handgemalte Gemälde. Jeder von uns beauftragte Künstler hat sich auf das Malen von Wunschbilder, Porträts oder alter Meisterwerke spezialisiert. Als fachkundige Experten auf ihren Gebieten sind unser Künstler steht’s darauf bedacht, Harmonie, Ausstrahlung und Ausdruckskraft des Originals zu bewahren und in ihrem Ölgemälde wiederzugeben. Es werden nur hochwertige Materialien und Leinwände für ihr Gemälde verwendet, somit ist eine originalgetreue Farbwiedergabe und Leuchtkraft ihres Bildes garantiert. Die von unseren Künstlern angefertigten Gemälde sind dem Original extrem ähnlich und oftmals kaum von diesen zu unterscheiden.

 

  1. Wie kann ich ein Wunschbild, ein Porträt oder eine Reproduktion bestellen?

Ob Wunschbild, Porträt, Reproduktion oder eines der Gemälde aus der Kategorie „Unsere Kunst für Sie“ der einfachste Weg für ihre Bestellung ist über unseren Einkaufswagen. Fügen Sie das gewünschte Gemälde (Menge und Größe nicht vergessen) in Ihren Einkaufswagen, laden Sie Ihre Vorlage hoch (bei Wunschbildern, Porträts), vervollständigen Sie Ihre persönlichen Informationen, wählen Sie die Zahlungsart aus und versenden Sie Ihre Bestellung online an uns. Kurze Zeit später erhalten Sie eine E-Mail von uns, die Ihre Bestellung bestätigt und Ihnen weitere Informationen zum Ablauf Ihrer Bestellung gibt. Natürlich können Sie ihre Bestellung oder Angebotsanfrage auch per Fax, Online-Formular oder per E-Mail an uns richten.

 

  1. Gibt es eine Mindestgröße für ihre Ölgemälde?

Die Mindestgröße für Porträts und Wunschbilder ist 30 x 40 cm. Besonders große Formate oder Sonderformate können für Sie auf Wunsch angefertigt werden. Bitte sprechen Sie uns an!

 

  1. Wie muss die Vorlage für ein Porträt sein, reicht ein normales Foto?

Ihr Porträt oder Wunschbild wird 1:1 nach Ihrer Vorlage erstellt. Die Qualität der Fotos ist daher entscheidend für das Ergebnis! Als Vorlage können Sie Ihr Digitalfoto (max. 500 KB) während des Bestellvorgangs hoch laden oder dieses per Mail oder als Fotoabzug (Mindestformat 13x18cm) per Post schicken. Ihre Fotovorlage erhalten Sie selbstverständlich mit der Auslieferung Ihres Ölgemäldes zurück. Jedes Motiv ist möglich, sofern nicht gegen ein Copyright oder geltende Gesetze verstoßen wird.

 

  1. Können zwei oder mehrere Personen von verschiedenen Fotos auf ein und demselben Gemälde/Porträt gemalt werden?

Ja, es ist ohne weiteres möglich zwei Fotos oder Personen von verschiedenen Fotos in ein und demselben Gemälde oder Porträt zusammenzufügen. Die Personen sollten dabei fototechnisch möglichst aus dem gleichen Winkel aufgenommen sein. Im Zweifel können Sie uns gerne ihre Fotos oder Digitalbilder zu einer kurzen Begutachtung zuschicken

 

  1. Können Details aus meiner Vorlage beim Malen des Bildes abgeändert werden?

Wir malen Ihr Ölgemälde 1:1 nach Ihrer Vorlage. Auf Wunsch können wir aber auch störende Elemente (z.B. Brille) weglassen oder den Hintergrund in einer bestimmten Farbe malen.

 

  1. Ist das Kopieren von alten Meisterwerken gesetzmäßig erlaubt?

Das Kopieren alter Meisterwerke ist in Deutschland gesetzmäßig und urheberrechtlich erst erlaubt, wenn der jeweilige Künstler seit 70 Jahren (USA 50 Jahre) verstorben ist. Deshalb sollten Sie vor Anfragen für eine Ölgemälde das jeweilige Urheberrecht prüfen oder von uns prüfen lassen. Um gegebenenfalls trotzdem zu Ihrer Reproduktion oder Ihrem Wunschbild zu gelangen müssen unsere Künstler kleine Abänderungen an dem jeweiligen Kunstwerk oder Wunschbild vornehmen.

 

  1. Wie sieht der Bestellablauf aus?
  1. Sie wählen ein Bild oder eine Vorlage aus, die Ihnen gefällt
  2. Sie übermitteln Ihre Bestelldaten direkt Online, per E-Mail, Telefon, Fax oder Post.
  3. Sie erhalten umgehend eine Eingangsbestätigung sowie ein Rechnungsformular per E-Mail oder Post.
  4. Sobald der Rechnungsbetrag bei an uns eingegangen ist, erhalten Sie eine Auftragsbestätigung.
  5. Ihr Gemälde wird jetzt angefertigt und schon bald an Sie ausgeliefert.


  1. Was kostet die Lieferung bei Ihnen?

Der Versand innerhalb von Deutschland ist grundsätzlich kostenfrei. Alle Gemälde von Artboxx.com sind bereits sorgfältig auf einen Keilrahmen aufgespannt. Sie können Ihr Gemälde also sofort nach Erhalt an die Wand aufhängen oder in einen Bilderrahmen ihrer Wahl einpassen. Alle unsere Gemälde sind an den Seitenrändern bemalt so dass Sie ihr Bild auch ohne Rahmen aufhängen können.
Auf Wunsch können wir Ihnen das Gemälde auch ohne Keilrahmen in gerollter Form zuschicken. Bitte lassen Sie uns wissen welche Form des Versandes Sie bevorzugen.

 

  1. Wie lang sind Ihre Lieferzeiten?

Unsere Lieferzeit beträgt zwischen 6 und 8 Wochen.
Bitte bedenken Sie jedoch, dass besonders Wunschbilder und Porträts einzigartige Kunstwerk darstellen und individuell von einem unserer Künstler für Sie handgemalt werden. Die Lieferzeiten könnten sich deshalb wegen unerwarteter Komplexität ihres Gemäldes oder Krankheit des jeweiligen Künstlers um 1-2 Wochen verlängern.

 

  1. Welche Phasen durchläuft mein Gemälde?

Wir unterscheiden hier die Zeichnungs-, Begutachtungs-, Trocknungs- und Versandphase. Die Zeichnungsphase beginnt direkt nachdem unsere Künstler den Auftrag und die jeweilige Fotovorlage für ihr Ölgemälde erhalten haben und dauert 2-3 Wochen.
In der Begutachtungsphase (1-2 Wochen) werden wir Ihnen ihr Ölgemälde vor seiner Vollendung zunächst zur ihrer Begutachtung und Bestätigung als Bild per E-Mail zu schicken. Wir möchten Sie somit in den Schaffungsprozess ihres Ölgemälde einbeziehen, um ihre spätere Zufriedenheit sicherzustellen sowie um mögliche Änderungswünsche und Korrekturen am Ölgemälde vornehmen zu können.
Nach der Fertigstellung beginnt die Trocknungsphase ihres Gemäldes, die je nach Stärke der aufgetragenen Ölfarbe bis zu 3-4 Wochen dauern kann. Nun erfolgt der Versand ihres Ölgemäldes zu ihnen nach Hause.

 

  1. Wird mein Gemälde eingerahmt verschickt?

Nein, Ihr Gemälde wird von unseren Künstlern so gemalt das Sie es ohne Rahmung (Bilderrahmen), nur auf einen Keilrahmen aufgespannt, zu Hause oder in ihren Geschäftsräumen aufhängen können. Natürlich können Sie das Ölgemälde später selbst ohne Probleme mit einen Rahmen versehen.

 

  1. Was ist wenn ich mit dem Gemälde nicht zufrieden bin?

Sollte Ihnen das Gemälde wider erwarten nicht gefallen, so können sie es innerhalb von 14 Tagen an Artboxx.com zurück senden. Wir erstatten Ihnen dann umgehend den Verkaufspreis zurück.

 

  1. Was ist zu tun, falls das Gemälde beschädigt ausgeliefert wird?

Alle Gemälde von Artboxx.com werden sorgfältig für den Versand verpackt und sind darüber hinaus versichert. Sollte es dennoch vorkommen, dass Ihr Gemälde beschädigt ausgeliefert wird, benachrichtigen Sie uns bitte umgehend. Wir werden Ihnen dann die Unkosten für das Rückporto erstatten und umgehend ein neues Gemälde anfertigen lassen oder aber Ihnen den Kaufpreis zurückerstatten.

 

  1. Gibt es einen gedruckten Katalog für ihre Reproduktionen und Gemälde?

Nein, aktuell gib es keinen Katalog.

 

  1. Sind die Kunstwerke steuerlich abzugsfähig?

Wenn Sie unsere Ölgemälde und Kunstwerke für ihre Geschäftsräume, wie Büro, Praxis oder Kanzlei erwerben, sind diese für Sie steuerlich abzugsfähig.

 

  1. Werden meine Kundendaten vertraulich behandelt?

Ja, selbstverständlich werden ihre Kundendaten von uns vertraulich behandelt. Wir versichern Ihnen, dass ihre Kundendaten unbefugten Dritten, nicht zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Nur die von uns beauftragten Versand- und Speditionsunternehmen erhalten die für den Versand ihres Bildes nötigen Daten.

 

  1. Wird mein fertiges Ölgemälde automatisch im Internet veröffentlicht?

Nein, Porträts von Personen werden bei uns nur nach Freigabe durch unsere Kunden im Internet veröffentlicht. Andere Ölgemälde wie Portraits von Tieren, Landschaftsbilder usw. oder Bilder, die nicht unsere Kunden abbilden möchten wir eventuell auf unserer Internetseite ausstellen.
